Pumpkin Carving!

Our internet hasn't been working for the past week or so, so I wasn't able to get these pics posted. The day after Halloween, we got a chance to carve a pumpkin. This was the first year that we have had this much access to pumpkins and decided to try it out with the kids. They weren't quite sure what this pumpkin carving business was all about. If you know Micah, you know he doesn't like touching things that are goopy or gooey, so he tried to scoop out the pumpkin one time and then decided it was my job. He did, however, decide that it was his job to dictate exactly what the pumpkin should look like. They had been coloring jack-o-lanterns in his preschool class and the faces were angry, so he decide that our pumpkin should have an angry face too!! We had a good time and the kids were very proud of their first jack-o-lantern!
